Robin Rizzini

Italian-British Designer, he was born in Genoa in 1973. Following a consistent experience in Antonio Citterio’s office in Milan he opens his first studio in 2006. After a few years he’s co-founder and Design Partner of Metrica in Milan.In 2019, he’s back as an independent Industrial Designer.

He worked and collaborated with many companies in Italy and abroad, designing furniture for the residential, contract and office market.

His main objective is to merge a technical — industrial language with a more decorative one with the aim to design essential, functional and expressive objects and furniture.

He's been visiting professor for many years at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.

In 2014 he’s been awarded with the Compasso d’Oro.

SEBASTIAN HERKNER

Sebastian Herkner (born 1981) studied Product Design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. During his studies he began to focus on designing objects and furniture, honing his keen sense for materials, colors and textures. In the year 2006 Sebastian Herkner founded his own studio.

Since that time, he has designed furniture, lamps and smaller items. Herkner also realizes interior architecture projects and museum and exhibition design. His works have won numerous accolades – among others the IF Award, the Iconic Award and the Elle Deco International Design Award (EDIDA).

As Guest of Honor to imm cologne 2016, Sebastian Herkner provided the design for “Das Haus”. Maison&Objet has elected him 2019 “Designer of the Year”.

ALBERTO BASAGLIA NATALIA ROTA NODARI

Since 1997 Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari have realized projects for interior design and construction, but also for the furniture and food fields, in order to realize a design with clean lines and strong character.

In 1999 they won the Young & Design prize materializing their strong ability to understand the potential of the company with which they work, interpreting its traits in the product. Later in 2007 they gained the Good Design Award for the system of modular bookcases

They created L001, the first lamp ever produced by Pedrali, thus allowing the company to expand its contract offer to include lighting. The L001 was soon followed by the models L002, Time Out, Happy Apple and by the series Colette, which have contributed to spread the Pedrali collection also in more intimate spaces.

“Seizing the specific energies of the person we are communicating with and finding the way to enhance them through the creation of alternative visions, often complementary to that which is already exists.” This is what the duo said about themselves in 2013, during the opening of “Alternative Synergies. 15 years of projects for companies”, held in Milan at the Fondazione Achille Castiglioni.

Claudio Bellini

Claudio Francesco Bellini (Born 1963) lives and works in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture at the renowned Politecnico University in 1990.
Atelier Bellini was born in 1996, an innovative design studio with a special interest in and original approach to the relationship between new technologies and creative processes.

In 1998, his revolutionary new office furniture system, TW Collection, introduced a completely new vision in the contemporary office landscape. From that point on, his extensive production of innovative projects in this area, has broadly contributed to anticipating behaviours and trends in the evolution of the working environment over the last years.
Today Claudio Bellini Design, recognized as one of the most influential European studios, is active within several fields of design ranging from furniture and product design to architecture, and collaborating with leading companies worldwide and many of the studio’s creations have received international design awards, including the prestigious Red Dot, IF and Good design awards.
Professor in furniture design at the Genova University from 2004 to 2008, he has held lectures and conferences all over the world, as his work has been extensively published. Claudio Bellini, describes his creative process as a mind adventure; free of any prejudice, animated only by enthusiasm, curiosity and optimism. This open-minded attitude, combined with a peculiar sensibility for historical heritage, and a deep understanding for material, production processes and market requirements, is clearly expressed in his creations and work method.

Alessandro Busana

Alessandro Busana was born in 1977, in Padua.He graduated in 1998 from the Italian Design School. Since 2004 he has been developing creative design focused on the functionality of the products, he attended national and international avant-garde exhibitions, he got published in the most important design magazines as well.

In 2007 and 2008 he joined “Joevelluto” group where he continues operating research and experimentation about products and spaces.
In 2009 he inaugurated Hole Design , a new research and concept development agency.

Busetti Garuti Redaelli

Manuela Busetti and Andrea Garuti meet while studying Industrial Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. Already during the academic years they face together the design issues and in 2004, in the year of the XX Compasso d’Oro ADI, their project, developed for the degree thesis, “Double”( an innovative cooler bag made of neoprene) is selected and published in the section “Progetto Giovane”.

In 2007, Matteo Redaelli graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan as Industrial Designer.

Their three lives meet during the common collaboration with a Design studio in Milan.

In 2008 start to work together on new projects combining their qualities and attitudes.

New collaborations begin with companies of different sectors, taps, table, furniture for home, living room, bathroom, bedroom, outdoor.

The common denominator of the three designers are the interest in research, reworking and the decontextualization of technologies and materials for the creation of unseen and innovative objects.

Luca Casini

Luca Casini studied in Florence and Milan, where he graduated in architecture in 1996. He established his studio in 1997 working with major industrial groups in America and Europe and he held lessons for a few years at the Polytechnic of Milan, the University of Industrial Design.

Claudio Dondoli - Marco Pocci

The “Archivolto” studio has been working with Pedrali for many years; the “Ice” chair, the “Gliss” chair and the “Smart” chair have had great success.

Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci are originally from Colle d’Elsa, near Siena, where the “Archirivolto” studio still has its head office today.

Odo Fioravanti

Odoardo Fioravanti studied Industrial Design at the Design Department of the Milan Polytechnic. Since 2003 he has been working as an industrial designer, also experimenting graphic and exhibition design.

Enrico Franzolini

Architect, he completed his university studies in Florence and Venice, where he graduated in 1979.

The passion and young artistic research are re­flected in numerous solo and group participations in trade fairs, starting with a presence at the 1972 Venice Biennale , in the decorative arts.

Cristian Gori

Born on 8th July 1977 in Poggibonsi (Siena - Tuscany)

He graduated at "Siena Art Institute" in 1995. He has been cooperating with Archirivolto since 1996.Design as beauty, harmony and freedom for everyone, not as a privilege for a few of them. That's what a designer has to do, to approach an always increasing number of people to design, in Gori's mind.

Patrick Jouin

Patrick Jouin was born in Nantes, France, in 1967. After graduating from the École Nationale de la Création Industrielle (ENSCI) in 1992, he started to design for Thomson multimedia under the Art Direction of Philippe Starck.

Daniele Lo Scalzo Moscheri

Born 9th November 1963. Graduated in Architecture in Milan in the year 1987. In the year 1988 he attended a Master in "Advanced technology application on Industrial design Manufactury" at Tampa University in Florida (USA). From 1987 to 1993 he collaborated with Piero Lissoni, then he opened his own office, dealing with product design and advertising.

Marco Piva

Exciting, fluid, functional. This is the language that distinguishes Marco Piva's architectural creations, product design and interior design. He received his degree from the Politecnico di Milano in 1977. Born on 24th August 1959 in Rimini (Emilia Romagna). He graduated in Architecture at Florence.

RM12 study was founded in 2000 by the architect designer Roberto Semprini in collaboration with other architects and designers. The study deals about Industrial Design, collaborating with the main italian companies of the sector.

Maurizio Manzoni
and Roberto Tapinassi

The Studio was born in 2001 in Florence through collaboration between the architects Roberto Tapinassi and Maurizio Manzoni. Their knowledge and skills range from the most classic ones (such as architecture, industrial design, stand design) to the visual communication (styling and fashion, boating, interior and graphic design).

Pio e Tito Toso

Brothers, born in Venice, in 1973 Pio and 1971 Tito. In Venice graduating in architecture in 1998.

From 1996 begin work in society, working in the field of building projects at national and international participation in various competitions.
